Questions and answers

How buying and selling works here, in plain terms.

Buying

Do I need an account to buy something?

Yes — a free one, with your mobile number and email. You can browse every shop and fill a cart without it; you sign in at checkout.

It is what lets you see all your orders in one place afterwards, message the shop about them, and leave a review once your parcel arrives. Without an account none of those can know who you are.

How do I pay?

Cash on delivery. You pay the courier when your order arrives. Nothing is charged when you place it.

Card, GCash, Maya or GrabPay. You are taken to a secure payment page to finish. Card numbers are entered on the payment provider’s own pages and never reach this platform.

Both are offered at checkout. A shop can switch cash on delivery off, or cap it above a certain order value, so on a large order you may see card only.

Is the price I see the price I pay?

Yes. The total shown at checkout includes delivery, and nothing is added afterwards. The figure is calculated by the server from the shop's own prices, not by your browser, so what you are shown is what the order is created for.

Where is my order? I did not get an email.

Your order link is your receipt. When you place an order you are sent to a private page with a long web address — bookmark it, or save it in your messages. It works without signing in, it does not expire, and it always shows the current status of that order.

Email is a courtesy, not the record. Addresses get mistyped and inboxes filter things, which is exactly why the link exists.

I lost the link.

Sign in and open your orders. Every order you have ever placed is there, from every shop, on any device you sign in from.

The private link still works and still needs no sign-in — it is there so you can forward a receipt to somebody without giving them your account.

Something was in stock, then said sold out at checkout.

Stock is held for 30 minutes once someone reaches checkout, so two people cannot buy the same last item. If the hold is not completed the items go back on sale automatically.

A shop page can also be up to an hour old, which is why availability is re-checked live as the page loads and again when the order is placed. The check at the moment of ordering is the one that counts.

Can I cancel, return or get a refund?

Returns and refunds are handled by the shop you bought from, under their own policy and under the Consumer Act of the Philippines (Republic Act 7394). Contact them first — their name and location are on every one of their pages.

If you paid by card or e-wallet, the shop issues the refund and it goes back to the same card or wallet you used. If you paid cash on delivery, that money never passed through us, so the refund is arranged between you and the shop.

We do not decide who is right in a disagreement — your contract is with the shop, not with us. What we do act on is rule-breaking: a listing that misdescribes what it sells, a prohibited health claim, or a shop that repeatedly fails to deliver. Report those and we can suspend the shop. Your rights under the Consumer Act (RA 7394) are unaffected either way.

How do I contact the shop about my order?

Open the order from your orders and use Messages at the bottom of the page. It goes to the seller beside the items and your delivery address, so they can see exactly what you are asking about.

The thread stays open for as long as the order exists — before payment, after delivery, and after a return. Neither side has to give out a phone number.

Can I leave a review?

Once your order has been delivered. Open it from your orders and the rating form is on the same page: one to five stars, whatever you want to say, and a photo if you have one.

Only people who actually received an order can review that product, which is the whole point — a rating nobody had to buy anything to leave is worth nothing. You can change or update your review at any time.

Something here is abusive or fake. Can I report it?

Yes. Every review and every message carries a Report link. Choose a reason, add a note if it helps, and it goes to the platform — not to the person who wrote it, and they are not told who reported them.

Reports are read by a person, not a filter, so it takes a little time. You can check back on the same link to see where yours got to.

I forgot my password.

Use forgotten your password on the sign-in page. A reset link is sent to the email address on your account and is valid for one hour.

This is why an email address is required at sign-up: your account is found by mobile number, but a number cannot receive a reset link.

Who am I actually buying from?

An independent shop. This platform is a marketplace: each shop is run by its own merchant, your contract is with them, and the money goes to them. The shop's name and location are shown before you buy and on your order.

Are my card details safe?

We never see them. Cash on delivery involves no card at all. Card and e-wallet payments happen entirely on the payment provider's own pages — Maya or PayMongo, whichever you pick at checkout. You are sent there to pay and sent back afterwards, and card numbers never reach this platform's servers or its database.

An order is only ever marked paid on the payment provider's own confirmation. Landing back on the site is not what settles it, so a page that fails to load after payment does not lose your money.

Why does a supplement page say “no approved therapeutic claims”?

Because it is required, and because it is true. Food supplements are not medicines and may not be described as treating, curing or preventing illness. That notice is added by the platform on products in regulated categories, and shops cannot edit or remove it.

If a listing claims a product cures something, that breaks our rules. Tell us at aiconichustlers@gmail.com or +63 956 065 4115 — and if the claim is in a review rather than the listing itself, use the Report link on that review, which reaches the same queue.

Selling

How do I open a shop?

Sign up with your mobile number, create your shop, and add your products. A person reviews new shops before they become visible to buyers — you can build your catalogue while you wait.

Review usually takes about two working days.

What does it cost?

Nothing to list, nothing monthly. We take 5% of each sale, and only when you sell something.

The 5% is fixed at the moment an order is placed, so if we ever change the rate it never applies backwards to orders you have already taken. It is reversed in full if you refund the order or the parcel comes back — we do not keep a fee on money the buyer got back.

If you invite affiliates to promote your shop, the commission you offer them is separate from our 5% and also comes out of your share. You set that rate yourself and it is off by default.

When and how do I get paid?

Because cash-on-delivery money never reaches us, our commission on those orders becomes a small balance you owe. It is deducted from your next online payout automatically. If you sell only by cash on delivery for a long stretch, we send a request to settle it directly.

Your panel shows the balance and every movement behind it, each line labelled with the order it came from.

How do people find my shop?

Buyers browse and search across every shop at once, so your products appear beside everyone else's rather than only to people who already know your name. That is the point of being on a marketplace instead of running a link in a bio.

You also get a QR code for your shop, under Shop QR code in the panel. Anyone who scans it with a phone camera lands straight on your shop — no app, nothing to type. Download it as a PNG for Facebook and Messenger, or as an SVG for a print shop, which stays sharp from a calling card up to a tarpaulin.

Leave the white border around the code alone when you print it. Scanners use it to find the edges, and cropping it off is the most common reason a printed code stops working.

How many photos can I add to a product?

Up to three, and you can select them all at once. The first is what buyers see on your shop page and in search results, so lead with the clearest one.

Photos are resized for you and their location data is stripped automatically — phone pictures carry GPS coordinates, and yours should not be published with your stock.

Buyers messaging me, and reviews on my products

Each order has a message thread, on the order screen in your panel. Buyers use it to ask where a parcel is or to flag a problem, and it is attached to the order so you can see what they mean.

Once an order is delivered the buyer can rate that product from one to five stars, with a photo. Ratings show on your product pages. You cannot delete a review — that would make every other rating on the platform worthless — but you can report one that is abusive or false, and a person will look at it.

Check your email. You are notified when an order arrives and when a buyer messages you, so keep a working address on your account.

Can I sell food supplements?

Yes — but you may not claim they treat, cure, prevent or diagnose any illness, in English or in Filipino. That is the law, and the platform carries the exposure for what it hosts.

Listings are checked automatically when you publish. If wording matches a moderated term the listing is held for review and you are told which words tripped it, so it is usually a one-minute fix. Products in regulated categories also carry a standard disclaimer added by the platform.

My listing says “pending review”. What now?

Either the claims filter matched something, or you edited a listing that was already live — an approved description that changes has to be looked at again. Open the product and the reason is shown at the top. Reword it and publish again, or wait for a reviewer.

How does stock work?

Each option has three numbers:

On hand only falls when you mark an order shipped, because until then the goods are still yours. Counted something and it disagrees? Use Recount on the options screen, which records the difference so the history still adds up.

Can I change a price after adding an option?

Yes. Open the product, go to Options & stock, edit the name, SKU or price and save. You can also withdraw an option from sale without deleting it, which keeps its stock record and its link to past orders intact.

A buyer refused delivery. What do I do?

Mark the order returned to sender from the order screen and give a reason. The goods go back into your on-hand stock automatically, because the system knows they left and came back.

Can I delete my shop and my details?

Yes, from AccountPrivacy. It asks for your password, and it is not reversible. Your name, number and email are overwritten wherever they appear — on your account, on every order you have placed, on the delivery addresses, in your side of any message thread, and on your reviews — and your shop closes.

The private receipt link on each of those orders stops working at the same time, because it is a key to your details and there is nothing left it should open.

What survives is money: order totals, fees and ledger entries stay, with your name gone from them. Accounts have to keep adding up for the periods they cover, which is why this anonymises rather than deletes.

It is refused while you have orders that are not finished. Buyers who have paid for undelivered goods need somebody to chase.

Anything else

My question is not here.

For anything about a specific order, contact the shop you bought from — they can see it and we would only be relaying messages.
